Join television personality and wine expert Michael Bigattini as he guides you through a delicious course of big reds that perfectly match a succulent cut of Alberta Beef. Find that perfect pairing for summer-time steaks and rediscover Alberta's tastiest natural resource! Every year this seminar fills up fast, so this year Big Reds and Big Steaks will be held on Saturday March 8, and Saturday, March 15.

 Ruth’s Chris Steak House is located on the 2nd floor at the base of the Calgary Tower. Impressive wine towers can be admired in the hall. Art niches through out the restaurant exhibit illuminated glass art. A French hearth stone fireplace is a prominent feature of the Great Room.

California Wine Fair

Calgary’s most popular annual wine Show. The California Wine Fair is a celebration of Canada’s favourite wine producing region. Taste over 300 wines from over 80 producers and feast on a selection of savoury hors d’oeuvres. A silent auction goes to benefit the Calgary Opera. Tickets are 55$ in advance and $60 at the door. This show sold out last year and Savour Calgary has advance tickets.
